How to schedule one game per team per day

Sometimes you may want each team to play every day over a short period of time.

For example:

“I have 6 teams and want each team to play 14 games over 2 weeks, with one game every day.”

Recommended setup, PRO

The best way to schedule this is to set your schedule up for 14 games over 2 weeks, add a 1 game per day constraint, generate your schedule.

This setup requires LeagueLobster PRO, because daily game limits are handled through schedule constraints.

Alternative setup, LITE

If you are using LITE, you can still get close, but it requires a little manual editing.

Create a schedule with 14 games over 14 weeks/rounds. Then apply your timeslots to just one weekday, such as Monday.

This will create one round per week, for example:

  • Round 1: Monday

  • Round 2: next Monday

  • Round 3: next Monday

  • And so on

After the schedule is generated, use the edit button on each date to manually change those weekly dates into consecutive daily dates.

This method takes more manual work, but it can be a useful workaround if you do not have PRO.
