You can set up (one or multiple) waivers or documents for your users to sign.
Waivers can be required for all users, which will make every user sign the waiver before being able to continue using your site or accessing your pages within our site.
Or you can select specific seasons (or tournaments) for which a waiver is required, if you have a different waiver requirements per event.
You can find the waivers dashboard in your left-hand navigation:
Set up your first waiver via the New Waiver button:
Enter a label and text for your waiver. You can use HTML to format the text.
Users will then see a signature page like this:
The sign later button lets users snooze a waiver for 30 mins so they are not forced to sign it without reading when they're in a rush to look up something.
For minors, there is a checkbox that will bring up a couple of extra form fields to collect guardian signatures:
Updating Waivers
Once you've created a waiver, you will see it on your waivers dashboard:
Click the label to see the detail page:
You'll see the waiver text as it shown to users, as well a version history and buttons to view acceptances (signatures) of this waiver, edit waiver, and archive.
When you edit a waiver, you will see a Version Options section where you can write a change summary that will be shown to players when they re-sign and a checkbox to say whether the change requires new signatures. If you only correct a typo, for instance, or make some small formatting change, you may not need everyone to re-sign it (not legal advice).
Changes are explicitly displayed to users required to re-sign:
Seeing who signed waivers
You can see who signed which waiver
on the waiver's acceptances page
on each user's dashboard page
on each team's dashboard page
